Reading Knitting Patterns - A Virtual Workshop - June 16th
Thursday, June 16th from 11:00am to noon
Do you struggle with deciphering knitting patterns? Join me as we break down patterns and demystify the process. We’ll conduct a rather comprehensive study of the parts of patterns and the purposes for each part as well as some tricky wording in some patterns. Each student will be provided a PDF which includes a general outline of the class which lends itself to note-taking during class as well as additional resources for chart symbols and stitch abbreviations. Each student is also encouraged to bring one pattern for which to compare to the information learned in class so you may apply this knowledge to your current knitting journey. If you bring a pattern to compare, it is encouraged to read the pattern in advance and ask questions during Q & A. Reduce your time studying patterns and spend knitting instead!
Supplies: Print out of the PDF outline, highlighter, pencil or pen - OR - tablet, phone, or other device which allows you to underline, highlight, and take notes while attending class.
