Cast On and Bind Off – Beyond the Basics - A Virtual Worksbop - March 5th
A Virtual Workshop with Amy Odin, Knit Chats
Friday, March 5th from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
Many of our knitted projects call for a variety of cast on and bind off techniques that are unfamiliar to us. Sometimes projects don’t call for them but we know they can be improved by using them! I’m Amy Odin (Knit Chats coach, teacher and designer) and I’d like to teach you six of these techniques to add to your knitting tool box. Watch and try as I demonstrate the following - the Cable Cast on, backwards loop, a provisional cast on using a crochet hook, and the Garter Tab cast on. After this, we’ll move on to Jeny’s Stretchy Bind Off, (KTBL, K1) bind off, and the sewn bind off. You will be happy to discover how many more patterns you can access and improve after finishing this class!
