Join us for a fun adventure designed to elevate your knitting skills from beginner to intermediate levels. The various sections incorporate stranded colorwork, lace, textured stitches, and cables. Both written and charted instructions are included, so working from the different charts adds to the comprehensive learning experience. Feel your confidence grow as you journey through a progression of skills, resulting in a beautiful piece to wear!

What you’ll learn:

Session 1 – Begin the provisional cast on, review the chart and start the simple colorwork section. Learn the one- and two-handed stranded knitting technique, and tips on floats and yarn management. We will also cover the lace section and charts. You’ll select from 3 pattern options ranging from easy to more challenging. Learn common chart symbols, working through a lace chart, and the use of lifelines.

Session 2—Our next session covers the textured stitch section and charts, which contain 3 pattern options with fun knit/purl combinations. Review the chart symbols and strengthen your skills in reading your knitting. Lastly, we will learn to cable. Learn techniques for working cables with and without a cable needle. Finish with a Mobius twist and Kitchener grafting in the round.
