Temperature Blanket Starter Kit
The kit does not include the pattern.
Pick a spot on the planet that you want to track, start with a little border and then crochet (or knit) a row each day, How fun is that? I am basically following Nathalie Bouffard’s Temperature Blanket, a blanket made up of single crochet stripes with a stripe of white in between each month. I liked the look of blanket and the fact that I was trying something new. If you prefer to knit a blanket, there are a number of worsted weight options on Ravelry. (Check them out here.)
We have put together a little starter kit featuring Plymouth Worsted Merino Superwash in 10 colors. The white is the border around the blanket and the other 9 correspond to a certain temperature range. Please note, you will need to purchase more yarn over time as the kit only comes with one skein of each color. Depending on the temperatures in your city or area, you could need more of this or that color. Dye lots will not matter because the blanket is striped. Feel free to purchase our starter kit or select your own - the joy is in the unexpected nature of the project!
Please see my blog post on the project for more information!
