Let's learn how to knit a top-down raglan sweater together! The four-part workshop will focus on gauge and size selection, best practices for sweater knitting, yoke construction, sleeve separation, knitting of body and sleeves, and finishing. This will be a fun workshop/knitting group round table! You will also receive printed materials to take home for reference. Once you master these basic skills, you can tackle any sweater project!

Skills taught in this class:

Gauge swatching
Setting up markers for and learning about raglan increases
Reading a sweater pattern
Separating the sleeves from the body
Picking up stitches and knitting sleeves
Basic sweater blocking

Skill level: Advanced beginner.

Supplies: Cozy Classic Raglan Sweater pattern, yarn, needles, and notions. After signing up for the class, please come into the shop to make your yarn selection and purchase supplies.

Pre-work: Please come to the first class with your gauge swatch knit and blocked.
