Knit your First Sweater - Monday Sweater Workshop - April 18th to May 23rd
Saturdays, April 18th and 25th and May 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd, from 10:00 am to noon
six-part series
Skills taught in this class:
- Gauge swatching
- Reading a sweater pattern
- Setting up markers for raglan increases
- Separating the sleeves from the body
- Picking up stitches and knitting sleeves
- Basic sweater blocking
Skill level: Advanced beginner.
Supplies:
Monday Sweater pattern, yarn, knitting needles, stitch markers, waste yarn or TKB cords, scissors, and tapestry needle.
Prework:
After signing up for the class, please come into the shop to make your yarn selection and purchase supplies. Then, knit a gauge swatch of at least 4inches x 4 inches. Please block your swatch and bring it with you to the first class meeting.
Full payment is needed to reserve your space. Cancellations must be made five days before the class. All refunds are given as store credit only. If we cancel the class for any reason, you will receive a full refund. Please note that any supplies or homework are listed under the class description. No Monarch Rewards Points can be used to pay for a class.
