Who is next in our "What's in the Project Bag" series? Koryn! Let's peek at the two projects she is working on and some of her favorite notions.
So Koryn, what are you working on right now??
I am working on a sample for the shop in a new yarn, North Baby Fibers Elemental Fingering, which is hitting our shelves today and will be online next week. Tif Neilan's Sunkissed Stripes has been a great summer project with its bright colors and light gauge. (We will have kits coming in next week's newsletter!)
Of course, my other project is for our #MKSummerTeeAlong! I am joining the group by knitting Tori Yu's Skyline Tee in some La Bien Aimee Merino Singles that I purchased at the shop. I cast on Saturday with the group and hope to get some knitting done later this week!
What are my go-to tools?
- Skein Coats: I looked it up, I have 35 Skein Coats from the shop! Can you believe it? I love, love, love them and use them with every cake of yarn I knit.
- Fox and Pine Stitch Stoppers: So, my second favorite thing? Stitch Stoppers! I cannot resist picking up a set when we get a new shipment.
- Chain Knitting Row Counters: Like Ann, I am a convert and use these anytime I need to keep track of my rows. My Alice marker makes me smile.
- Infinity Stitch Markers: Of course, they match my Alice Row counter!
- Work Until...Measuring Tape: I am here to tell you that this is the best. I used it on my last sweater, and now it lives on any project that requires knitting to a prescribed measurement.
- Firefly Notes Notions Tin: Don't we all have one of these by now?
- Bronze Bamboo Scissors: These fit in my tin and are nice and sharp.
- Cat Clips - Removable Stitch Markers: Cats, need I say more?
Thanks for sharing your project bags with us, Koryn! You always work with such happy colors.
